We work with McCarthy Environmental on a range of branding and marketing projects. Initially, we worked on standardising their branding and logo in order to keep consistency across all of their marketing materials and we have been keeping true to that ever since.
McCarthy Environmental have a small fleet of vehicles that are all branded with the logo and company livery. The vehicles are renewed every three years and of course we are there to support them when they experience any scrapes, collisions or random acts of vandalism (it does happen, unfortunately!).
We have also produced a range of printed Stationery for the company which includes high-quality letterheads, continuation sheets and business cards for the key team members. The letterheads and continuation paper are all printed (four colour) on 115gsm laser compatible paper and the business cards are double-sided, four colour on 350gsm artboard with a matt laminate finish to both sides.
Moving forwards we are now on the second iteration of their website having originally redesigned it to bring it up to date. They were looking for a new site as the one they had in place had not really ever been finished. The same content was appearing on every page of the site no real time had been spent on incorporating the brand previously.
Alongside the obvious need to align the branding, McCarthy were looking for a site to promote a professional image, be informative and to create a distinct web presence. We think we achieved all that – and more, see for yourself here!
The latest version of the website needed to become responsive (in line with modern web design techniques) and to add a new eCommerce element allowing them to showcase and sell products directly from their site. We think we achieved all that – and more, see for yourself here!
With the launch of the new site came the need to improve McCarthy Environmental’s search engine rankings. On day one we ran a benchmark report to be able to refer back to at a later date. At this point the site received zero page one rankings from Google and only appeared in the top 100 results on Google (i.e. the first ten pages) for two of their target key phrases. They were receiving 82 organic visits a month and they had 40 ‘toxic’ backlinks to their website. There was a lot of work to do! At the point of writing this review McCarthy now enjoy 19 page 1 rankings for key phrases we are targeting and appear in Google search for an average of 463 phrases. The McCarthy website now receives an average of 308 TARGETED organic visits per month and have 167 healthy links pointing back to it. (Please note these statistics are correct at the time of publishing them).
Promoting your brand is all about repetition, and the whole of the McCarthy team literally wear the brand wherever they go. We have supplied a full range of embroidered Jackets, Polo Shirts, Casual Shirts, Fleeces, Hoodies, Beanie hats and T-shirts and everywhere they go, they receive comments and compliments.
